The King program, through the Advisory Council, is required to submit annual reports to the Surgeon General of the Department of Health, the Governor, the President of the Senate, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, and the Florida Center for Universal Research to Eradicate Disease. The report must include information about the status of biomedical research in the state of Florida, funded projects, new grant recipients, publications involving research supported by grants, biomedical research funding flowing into the state, and progress in the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and cure of tobacco-related diseases.
